JNR Group staff will be giving up their spare time this weekend to collect donations for Armed Forces charity, Help for Heroes.

After taking part in a Transport for London collection day for the charity in the summer, our team has been eager to help out again. So, on Saturday 13th October and Sunday 14th October, our volunteers will be collecting donations for Help the Heroes at the Tesco Park Farm store in Ashford, Kent.

We work with serving members of the Armed Forces every day, helping them to claim tax refunds against expenses such as travelling to temporary bases. With the average four-year claim being worth around £3,000, we’re determined that our hardworking, committed Ministry of Defence personnel shouldn’t miss out on the tax relief to which they’re entitled.

So, we’re delighted to continue to raise money for Help for Heroes, which supports those who suffer injuries or illnesses attributable to their time in the British Armed Forces.

“JNR Accounting has assisted many Armed Forces personnel over the last five years and Help for Heroes is a fantastic charity, which I hold dear, both professionally and personally,” said Nathan Cotton, founder and director. “After all, without our heroes, where would we be?”

Our team of volunteers will be collecting at the store from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and 11.30am to 5pm on Sunday. Please pop in if you’re in the area and give what you can to help our national heroes.
